The Women’s Fund is a partnership of donors, volunteers, and staff working to support programs for women and girls. The Women’s Fund can help fund programs in the areas of health, human services, sports, culture, and the arts.
Qualifications
1. The applicant must have a 501(c)(3) IRS tax exempt designation or be a governmental, educational, or religious organization.
2. The program must meet the needs of women and/or girls who are residents of Brown, Oconto, Kewaunee, or Door counties.
Restrictions
The Women’s Fund does not fund individuals, for-profit organizations, capital projects, endowments, debt reduction, fundraising events, campaigns to elect candidates, conference attendance, travel, or programs that promote religious or sectarian activities.
Evaluation Criteria
1. Grants will be made for programs that support and expand opportunities for all women and girls that help them to be healthy, to be safe, to learn, to achieve, to compete, to realize their dreams, and to become philanthropists.
2. In addition, grant reviewers will look for organizations that consult and collaborate with other agencies to enhance existing programs and augment opportunities; have a board, staff and volunteers that reflect the diversity of the community served; and demonstrate women and girls served are involved in planning and implementation of the projects and programs.

EMERGENCY FUNDING REQUESTS
The Emergency Fund of the Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay was established to be responsive to unexpected community needs and to assist non-profit organizations with programs serving women and girls in times of emergency. Emergency requests can be requested at any time during the year. In regards to the Women’s Fund, an emergency is defined as an unexpected event that affects the operation of a program or organization serving women and/or girls and threatens the agency’s ability to provide service to women and girls. Grant amounts for emergency funding requests are dependent upon funds available and the evaluation process. Contact the Community Foundation for more information.
