 Grants Grant_Application_2008.doc Grant_Guidelines_2008.doc Dear Non-profit partner, The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation are pleased to announce the 2008 grant cycle for the Women’s Fund. Enclosed you will find the grant guidelines as well as an application. Since 1999, the Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay has provided 38 grants totaling more than $35,000 to organizations in our area to benefit women and girls. This year there is over $15,000 available for granting. Although the Women’s Fund has funded numerous programs in the past years focused on supporting the basic needs of women and girls and continues to recognize this need in our community, this year we are also especially interested in reviewing creative proposals beyond basic needs. Please take a moment to read the guidelines carefully and call me with any ideas or questions you may have. Also, note that the application deadline is July 1, 2008. A group of community leaders will review the applications, and organizations will be notified by the end of August about the status of their request. Those receiving grant awards will be invited to send an organizational representative to the Power of the Purse Luncheon on September 24, 2008. The Community Foundation and the Women’s Fund are sensitive to the range of levels of expertise in writing proposals. The goals of your project are more important than the level of sophistication of the application’s presentation.
