The Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay held their 6th annual Power of the Purse luncheon on September 30th. The luncheon featured Dr. Meg Meeker who is a pediatrician and author of five books. The event raised over $100,000 for the Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay.
In conjunction with the event, the Women's Fund announced their 2010 grant recipients. This year's recipients are Clarity Care, Chappell Elementary, Girl Scouts of Northwestern Great Lakes, Green Bay West High School and the Volunteer Center Inc. of Brown County.
Through the support of donors and being a fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, the Women's Fund is able to continue its mission of empowering women and inspiring girls in the Green Bay area.
