The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay hosted its 7th Annual Power of the Purse event on Wednesday, September 28, 2011. The luncheon raised over $114,000 and proceeds will benefit the Women’s Fund mission of assisting programs for women and girls that support leadership and self-esteem initiatives here in the greater Green Bay area.
The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay, a fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, has awarded 10 grants, totaling more than $35,000, in partnership with other Community Foundation donors to local non-profit and school programs.

Girlfriends 2012 will take place on April 25, 2012 at the Meyer Theatre
The Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay held their 6th annual Power of the Purse luncheon on September 30th. The luncheon featured Dr. Meg Meeker who is a pediatrician and author of five books. The event raised over $100,000 for the Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay.

This event is attended by over 800 women and men coming together to share in the power and company of women.
The Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay hosted its 4th Annual Girlfriends event on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Meyer Theatre. The audience was wowed with a concert by Jenny Thiel, who was named 2008 "Best Jazz Artist” in the “Best of Milwaukee” awards by the Shepherd Express.
What's the best way to thank the women who've inspired you to follow your dreams? The answer is easy: inspire others in turn.   Donate to the Women's Fund when you check out at your local Festival Foods store (Green Bay locations). Your donation of $10, $25 or $50 will support local programs that empower women and inspire girls.
UW-Green Bay Associate Director of Athletics Jeanne Stangel and Green Bay West High School advisers, Jody Vanwassenhoven and Kim Schanock, worked together to coordinate an evening at the Kress Center for a group of student leaders from West High School.
