“Growing up with many strong women as role models has shaped me into the woman I am today. They have empowered me to be confident, independent and have a voice. They have taught me the value in being an active member of my local community.
I started to get involved with the Women’s Fund after college. I sat on committees and attended networking events and fundraisers. There, I truly learned how much of an impact the Women’s Fund of Greater Green Bay has in our community. I volunteer because I hope to inspire the women and girls that Women’s Fund reaches, just like my mentors have empowered me.
I want them to be the strong, successful women that achieve their dreams and hopeful that this will be cyclical within the next generation. We can only be successful if we support and love one another. ”
